Richard S. Wilder Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard S. Wilder of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Durand and Mildred Wilder (Lybarger); his wife Margaret Wilder (McMahon); his son Richard S. Wilder, Jr.; his granddaughter McKenna Sohomuch; and his brother James Durand Wilder.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Weezorak (Robert), Margaret Fisher, James Spencer Wilder, William Fisher Wilder (Marina), Thomas Durand Wilder (Lisa), Timothy Curtis Wilder, Jane Sohomuch (Mike) and Alison Mansfield (Mike). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Malpezzi Funeral Home (8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
