He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clarence Steele and Freda Maude Steele (Southern); his wife Kathryn "Kay" L. Steele (Bailey); his sister Willa Mae Murphy; and his son-in-law Andrew Heller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra L. Steele of Enola, PA and Linda S. Heller of Lawrence, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
