He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Yurkiewicz and Nellie Yurkiewicz (Saweikis); his son Patrick; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Myrlis. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Kathleen Witten (Richard) of York Haven, PA and Thomas of Camp Hill, PA; his stepdaughter Deborah Hinckley of Mendon, Ohio; his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Hose (Charles), Elizabeth Witten, Sophia York, Danielle Hinckley and Donald Hinckley (Elizabeth); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Isabella, Keegan, Willow Hose, Colton, Presley and Harper Hinckley.
