He is survived by: his wife Donna Thrush Gast; his children, Lee Gast (Leanne) of Nottingham, NH and Kurt Gast (Suzanne) of Harrisburg; his stepchildren, Amy Thrush-Dreves (Andrew) of Gettysburg, John Thrush of Raleigh, NC and Michael Thrush (Sashy) of Decatur, GA.; his grandchildren, Marissa Gast, Sydney Guyer (Ethan) and Eliza Dreves; his great grandchildren, Ariel Guyer and Julian "JuJu" Guyer; and his sisters, Linda Rhett (Louis) of Clermont, FL and Judith "Judy" Gast of Aiken, SC..
