It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Murray of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Joseph and Louise Murray (Fleming); his wife Gertrude "Trudy" Murray (Sieb); and his brother Thomas J. Murray. He is survived by: his children, Thomas (Barbara Murray), Timothy (Beth Murray), Laura (John Shoop), Lynn Murray and Todd "TJ" Murray; his grandchildren, Aja, Kurt Hedenberg, Ryan Murray, Sean, Ashley Murray, Jacob Murray, Alicia Blackford, Bryan Allen, Tyler Murray, Michael, Ashley Morgan, Jessica Murray, Austin Shoop and Shannon Shoop; and his sibling's children, Michael Murray, Marci Murray, Kelly, Tipper Webb, Andy Mahalchick and Steve Mahalchick. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
