He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Charles, MD and Etta Grace Imperiale; and his sibling Jean Costello (late Edward). He is survived by: his children, Max Weisman (Sharon), Kimberley Imperiale, Lisa Imperiale and Amy Imperiale Sweeney (Tony); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jaclyn, Jackson, Eva, Charlie, Benjamin and Isabel; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Grace and Haley; and his sister Joan Shanks (Donald). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
