Doris McGovern Obituary

In the vast expanse of eternity, Doris shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Doris farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nordmeier and Alice Nordmeier; and her husband Pat McGovern. She is survived by: her brother-in-law George McGovern (Jeanette) of Berea; and her nieces, Michele and Christina.
In 2022, DVOC honored Doris with the DEVOC award which recognizes an individual for his/her outstanding contributions to ornithology and exemplifies the spirit of the Founders and upholds the prestige which was established for the Club.
