He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherry Leibowitz and Mitchell Leibowitz. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Leibowitz; his sons, Michael (Joanne) and Gabriel; his grandchildren, Harrison, Oliver and Zoë; his sister Stefani Rifkind (Shaul); and his nephews, Eli, Noam, Joseph and Brian.

He helped me through so much, and was a smart, funny, insightful person, and someone who had an exceptional understanding of the nuances of autism. When I got the email on Monday informing me of his passing, I was shocked. Although our relationship was professional, I know I will personally miss him.
