He was predeceased by: his parents, William V. Joy and Mary Joy; his wife Bridget "Bridie" Joy (Irish); his daughter Ann Marie Curay; and his siblings, Kathleen Coleman, Maureen Ryan, Eugene (Anna), Morris (Kay), John (Gail) and Margaret Lumby (Basil).
He is survived by: his sons, William V. Joy III (Donna) and Kevin G. Joy (Kim); and his sister Judy Foley.
