He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Flannigan and Elizabeth E. Flannigan (Condon); his son Brian W. Flannigan; his sisters, Micki Pfingstler and Patty McMahon; and his brother-in-law Dale Pfingstler.
He is survived by: his wife Jane E. Thorwart; his daughter Amy Deitz; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Boehm (Erich), Logan Deitz (Julianne) and Eben Deitz; his sister Edwina Engel (Michael); and his brother-in-law Dennis McMahon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
