He was predeceased by: his wife Wendy Darlington (Egelsky); his father Thomas Burkhart; and his grandparents, Edward, Patricia Higgins, James and Patricia Burkhart.
He is survived by: his mother Linda Taylor Burkhart; his sons, Zachary Darlington (Elizabeth) and Jakob Darlington (Victoria Edelston); his siblings, Attorney Thomas Burkhart (Attorney Amanda Chaplin) and Cristina Hittle (Keith); his niece Madeline Hittle (Hunter Sage); his grandsons, Jaxson and Oliver Darlington; his close friends, Diane Sonntag, Joe Thompson and Chuck Johnson; his pets, Brutus and Smokey; and his duck Grey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John Flynn Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. (2630 E State St, Hermitage, PA 16148). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the John Flynn Funeral Home Chapel - Hermitage.
