He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester King and Lula King; and his siblings, Betty Yeager, Pauline Marsh (Roy), Nancy Flannery (William), L. Robert King (Mary), Russell King and Norman King.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Buxton; his children, Scott King (Sue Ann) and Amy Bobbitt (Mike); his brother John W. King (Phyllis); and his grandchildren, Devin Bobbitt (Jenna) and Dylan Bobbitt.
