With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Williams of Meshoppen, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Though Roger may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roger touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Williams and Alice Williams (Avery); his children, Patricia Jean Johnson (Tish) and Terry S. Williams; and his siblings, Frank, Esther and June.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Williams (Hall); and his children, Dell Williams, Brian Williams (Karen) and Lori Kim Williams. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kukuchka Funeral Home & Cremation Care (73 W Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Calendar Sunnyside Cemetery (152 Sunnyside Rd, Tunkhannock, PA 18657).
