He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver G. Getty and Ina L. Getty (Lucas). He is survived by: his wife Cathy Getty (Forrest); his children, Oliver Getty (Kala), Theresa Strope-Walker (Emery) and Christina Getty; his grandchildren, Abigail Walker and Lucas Getty; and his siblings, James Getty, Robert Getty, Anita Abernathy and Patricia Boyce.
