With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Hackenberg of Middleburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin H. Royer and Lottie M. Royer (Kratzer); her husband Guy J. Hackenberg; her grandchildren, Terra and Austin Miller; her son-in-law Clyde Lauver Jr.; her stepchildren, Curtis Sr., Yvonne and Vanessa Hackenberg; and her siblings, Henry Royer (Dorothy), Evelyn Royer, Bobby Royer (Irene), Donald Royer, Mervin Royer (Lillian) and Kenneth Royer.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Martin (Shelva), Susan Walter (Steve), Tina Miller (John Jr.), Cheryl Kahl (Joe), Tammy Ulrich (John Jr.), Kelly Lauver Richardson (Alonzia) and Melissa Kreamer (Kevin Long); her stepchildren, Lofty Hackenberg (Tina) and Blyth Hackenberg; her grandchildren, Justin, Casey, Heather, Monica, Ryan, Carla, John III, Alysha, Danielle, Joseph, Corey, Brandon, Tiffany, Andrew, Natosha and Taylor; her sisters, Faye Kuhns (Harry) and Mary Basom (Gary); and her sister-in-law Mina Royer.
