It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theodore R. Compton of Middlebury Center, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 28, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Compton and Faye Compton (Goodwin); his wife Vida Compton; his son Tedd Compton; his grandsons, Brett Gee and Isaiah Compton; and his siblings, Cecil Compton, Philip Pettitt, Stella English and Marjorie Spencer.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Youmans (Mike) of Wellsboro, PA, Denise Gee (Jerry) of Wellsboro, PA, Deanna Powell (Joe) of Wellsboro, PA, Danelle Fuller (Rex) of Middlebury Center, PA and Thad Compton (Cynthia) of Mansfield, PA; his daughter-in-law Natalie Compton of Wellsboro, PA; and his siblings-in-law, Helga Pettitt of Big Flats, NY and Paul Webster of Wellsboro, PA. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and their spouses, 42 great-grandchildren and their spouses, and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
