Doris C. Van Note Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris C. Van Note (Middletown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 16, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Doris had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Doris may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her brother Ray V. Smink (Bo); and her grandson Christopher Redcay. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Van Note; and her sister-in-law Joyce Smink. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who knew that Nanas.

In lieu of flowers, consider going to a yard sale this weekend in her honor—or baking something and sharing it with someone you love. Doris would've liked that (or donate to Masonic Village Evergreen Hospice Center, she would have liked that too).
