He was predeceased by: his parents, Freda Lucille Hickman (Timmerman) and Emmett Hickman Sr.; and his siblings, Emmett Hickman Jr. and Sharon Romich. He is survived by: his wife Patricia F. Stewart (Collins); and his sisters, Evelyn "Lyn" Cain (Ray) and Nancy Lane (Steve).
