She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roan and Lila King (Hockenberry); and her husband Kenneth Shope Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Penny Bumbarger (Michelle) of York, Thomas Bumbarger Jr. (Michelle) of Middletown, David A. Bumbarger (Kelli) of Shermans Dale, Dawn Carter of Harrisburg, Sharen Swain of Harrisburg, Kenneth Jr. (Holly) of Dauphin, Harry Shope of Middletown and Rhonda Darhower (Mike) of Dauphin; and her siblings, Russell Roan (Janice), Laura Corl, Rachel "Sue" Dewey and Nellie Etters (George). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
