The memory of Melvin R. Hershey of Middletown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 72, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Melvin had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Melvin may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hershey and Evelyn Hershey (Rider). He is survived by: his wife Cindy (Condran); his close friend Tyler Rabuck (Tracey); and his sisters, Edith Horting (Robert), Lois Chocrlette and Phylis Aungst (Robert). He is also survived by Godsons, and God daughters and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Word of Life Chapel (139 Wickersham Rd, Bainbridge, PA 17502). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
