He was predeceased by: his parents, B. Edward Schmidt and Beatrice Scott Schmidt; and his sibling Little Bee Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Susan Wisdo Schmidt; his children, Douglas, Ryan Schmidt and Victoria Palmer (Jesse); his siblings, Ed Schmidt (Debra), Gus Schmidt (Maureen) and Madeleine Maust (late Russ); and his grandchildren, Milo, Rocco, Ayla, Shane and Kyle. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
