In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Samuel had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Samuel may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adam Sozio and Dorothy Sozio; his children, Samuel J. Sozio and Elissa Tanner (James); his grandchildren, Jonah Tanner (Nikita Langnecker), Jacob Tanner, Jaime and Sarah Tanner; and his great grandchildren, Maria, Atticus and Theo.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home (629 Midland Ave, Midland, PA 15059). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine Parish (772 Ohio Ave, Midland, PA 15059).
