He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gessner and Helen Gessner (Oberlin); his brother-in-law Dan Swank; his nephew Brian Swank; his uncles, Luther, Ernie and Vernon "Tub" Gessner; and his cousins, Terry Gessner, Todd Gessner, Melanie Smith, Clayton Gessner and Rockey Gessner.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille "Lucy" A. Miller; his sons, Jeffrey Gessner of Danville and Jamie Gessner of Mifflinburg; his brother Ray; his sister-in-law Linda Gessner of Mifflinburg; and his sisters, Janet (Mike Shoemaker) and Judy Swank of Mifflinburg.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Berlin Social Hall (415 High St, New Berlin, PA 17855).
