He is survived by: his children, Wesley James Wakefield, Ginger Rhodes, Bobbie Jo Snouffery, Amanda Oliver Gibbons and James H. Wakefield, Jr.. He is also survived by nine siblings, fifteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
