He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul C. Benner and Marion Benner (Emerick); and his siblings, Polly Benner Anderson, Paul Charles Benner II and John Raymond "Jack" Benner.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Benner (Cameron); his sons, Steven P. Benner (Alicia Spence) of State College and David C. Benner (Tina) of Highlands Ranch, CO; his grandchildren, Grace Benner Kim (Wooseok), Will Benner, Max Benner, Claire Benner, Audrey Benner and Rachel Benner; and his great grandchild Margot Kim. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (108 Lemon St, Mifflintown, PA 17059).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Westminster United Presbyterian Church, 208 Lemon St., Mifflintown, PA 17059 or the Juniata County Food Pantry, PO Box 44, Mifflintown, PA 17059.
