He was predeceased by: his parents, David H. Hackenberger and Flo Hackenberger (Boyer); and his former wife Mary K. Hackenberger (Landis). He is survived by: his wife Deborah Tabb Hackenberger (Haubert); his children, Wesley Hackenberger (Michelle DiMidio), Lisa Meiser (Mike) and Gregory Hackenberger (Kirsten); his stepchildren, Tonya Tabb and Todd Tabb (Melissa); his grandchildren, Jack, Mariel, Nicholas, Katelyn, Kari, Alayna, Nate, Luke, Tyler, Emma and Owen; his great grandchild Cali; his siblings, Joyce Wanger and Kenneth Hackenberger (Sue); his stepmother Phyllis Hackenberger; and his stepbrothers, Ed Marshall, Richard Marshall and Melvin Marshall.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Guss Funeral Home, Inc. (20 S 3rd St, Mifflintown, PA 17059). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Stephen's Lutheran Church (8489 Licking Creek Rd, Mifflintown, PA 17059).
