He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Swanson and Cecelia Swanson (McBride) of Brooklyn, NY; and his wife Patricia M. Swanson (Baird). He is survived by: his children, Donald Swanson Jr., Bret Swanson, Teresa M. Swanson-Fenton and Amy Swanson Swistack (James Swistack Jr.); his grandchildren, Kevin, Sarah, Danielle, Carly, Devan, Bradley and Brianna; and his great grandchild Dakota.
