He is survived by: his wife Colleen (Sliker); his children, Robert E. Mackerley, Jr. (Carrie) of Stillwater, Diane "Punky Dory" DeGroat (John) of Wantage, Darlene Webb (Jimmy) of West Virginia, Dawn Mackerley (John) of Highland Lakes and Dorothy Davenport (Matthew) of Franklin; his siblings, Kenneth Mackerley (Shirley) of Lakeland, Florida and Roxanne Kent (Russel) of Pennsylvania; and his pets, Reimi, Rosie and Ruger. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several beloved in-laws.
