With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David L. Schlegel (Millersburg, Pennsylvania), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on October 9, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Schlegel (Seitz) and Raymond Schlegel; and his sister Vera Schlegel. He is survived by: his wife Janie Kay Schlegel; his sons, David Andrew Schlegel (Jill) and Jim Schlegel (Rachael); his brother Edwin Schlegel (Linda); his grandchildren, Dawson, Dylan, Grant, Owen and Lauren; and his great grandchildren, Cayson and Jackson. He is also survived by niece and nephew.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd. (118 S Market Square, Millersburg, PA 17061). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
