He is survived by: his wife Stacey Schmick (Mace); his sons, Bryant Schmick (Lisa) of Millersburg and David Schmick (Brandi) of Liberty, NC; his stepson Robert Michael of Tower City; his grandchildren, Noah, Olivia, Baylee, Harper, Saylor, Ella Schmick, Analayah Loncar and Shianne Lontz; and his brothers, Michael Schmick (Christina) and Darryl Schmick (Patricia).

The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Millersburg Little League, PO Box 222, Millersburg, PA 17061.
