It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jean L. Messimer of Millerstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 74, on September 3, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Musser and Ruth Musser (Seibert). She is survived by: her husband George H. Messimer; her sons, Michael G. Messimer (Amy) of Liverpool and Matthew T. Messimer (Nicole Sarver) of Millerstown; and her grandchildren, Celia Messimer, Elyse Messimer and Nolan Messimer. She is also survived by three sisters; one brother; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Millerstown United Methodist Church (23 N High St, Millerstown, PA 17062). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
