He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Mackey and Dorothy Mackey (Morehouse); and his wife Margaret Mackey (Craig). He is survived by: his children, Pamela Conner (Andrew), Jeffrey Mackey (Michelle) and Joseph Mackey, Jr.; his siblings, Dorothy Shaffer, John Mackey (Margaret) and Larry Mackey (Shirley); and his brother-in-law William Wisor. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
