He was predeceased by : his parents, Elizabeth Shopf King and Harry Roy King; and his children, Sally Jene and Scott. He is survived by : his wife Lorna Jene King; his sister Ella Miller of Mountville; his children, Marbeth Szczerban (Walter) of Wilmington, DE, Tracy King (late Adele) of Mountville and Matthew King (Trina) of Mountville; his grandchildren, Christopher Szczerban (Sarah), Michael Szczerban (Kristen), Kate Zinn (Andrew), Jared King (Krystal), Brooke King, Joshua King and Colton King; his great grandchildren, Theodore, Noah Zinn (Kate), Brielle King (Colton), Isabel and Juliet Szczerban (Christopher); and his friends, Carol Houghton, Marcia E. Herman Berg and Barbara L. Donovan. He is also survived by twelve children.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
