Franklin D. Winter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin D. Winter of Millheim, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 20, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Franklin D. Winter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben A. Winter and Kathryn E. Winter (Ripka); his wife Joyce F. Winter (McCool); his grandson Brett Rossman; and his siblings, Normie Coffy, Betty Albright and Georgie Winter (Marlin).
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Rossman (Terry) of Spring Mills and Cindy Gramley (Gary) of Centre Hall; his siblings, Pauline Stover, C. Sandra Zimmerman, Kay Stover, Fay McCool, May Long, Karen Copenhaver, Wayne, Dennis and Gary Winter; his grandchildren, Terra Deithorn (Eric), Jamie Smith (Tony) and Jesse King (Carolyn); his stepgranddaughter Adrean Fortuna; his great grandchildren, Memphis, Oaklee Rossman, Alexander, Bentley Deithorn, Wyatt King, Kora and Koty Smith; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lucas Shawley, Dyson Jenkins, Sara, Maggie and James Fortuna. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home (120 W Main St, Millheim, PA 16854-0437). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Contributions in his memory may be given to Millheim Fire Company or the American Heart Association.
