He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Yearick and Iris Yearick (Ripka); his son Mark K. Ripka; his brother Keith Yearick; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Valentine, Tom Rishel, Sharon Yearick and Sally Rishel; and his niece Heather Valentine.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Lose; his children, Jamie Sue Ripka Homan (Troy) of Spring Mills and Richard Todd Thomas of Millheim; his siblings, Luzetta Valentine of Centre Hall and Kent Yearick of Bellefonte; and his grandsons, Tyler Wagner (Liz) of Charlotte, NC and Dylan Homan of Spring Mills. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
