He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Smith (Brandt) and Jack Smith; and his brother Gary Smith. He is survived by: his wife Susan Smith (Hartle); his children, James Smith (Kim) of Centre Hall, PA and Jeanne Smith of Boalsburg, PA.; his sister Peg Caldwell (William) of Milroy, PA; his sister-in-law Tish Smith of Centre Hall, PA.; his grandchildren, Reba Gates (Ryan) of Lamar, PA, Corby Smith and Blake Simons of Orlando, FL; and his great grandchild Rhett Gates.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Penns Valley Church (117 Penn St, Millheim, PA 16854).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the Millheim Fire Company, POB 656, Millheim, PA 16854 or to Calvary Penns Valley Church, POB 425, Millheim, PA 16854.
