He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Ralph (Pamela Cifrulak), Carol, Charlotte and Eleanor Schmitt; his grandchildren, Sarah Long (Michael) and Nicholas Schmitt; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Marley, Louis and Penelope Long; and his sister Ethel Maloney (Richard).

Family suggests donations to St. John's Lutheran Church in care of the cemetery fund, 501 North Ave. Millvale, PA 15209.
