The passing of Warren C. Nelson of Millville, Pennsylvania, born in Brooklyn, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 80. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rosella Nelson (Sweeney); his parents, Charles Nelson and Constance Nelson (Gade); his grandson Matthew Liam Nelson Yogmas; and his close friend Jim Cosgrove.
He is survived by: his niece Elizabeth Tiefenwerth (Cosgrove); his children, Colleen Nelson and John Nelson (Danialle); his grandchildren, Riley Rose Nelson and Shamus Warren Danial Nelson; and his siblings, Diane Wolfe, Virginia Serino Openshaw (Tom), Debra Lalima (Nick) and Gregory Nelson (Lisa). He is also survived by his godchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Columba Catholic Church (342 Iron St, Bloomsburg, PA 17815-1824). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery (830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940).
