He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Delp and Bessie Delp (Conrad); his son Ernest P. Delp, Jr.; and his siblings, George Delp, Mildred Delp, Emma Berger, Ruth Arbogast, Grace Delp, Virginia Herrold and Romayne Bohner.

He is survived by: his wife Sara Machamer; his son Kenneth E. Delp of York; and his sisters, Phyllis Sweppenheiser of Herndon and Rosalie Weaver of Sunbury. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
