He is survived by: his children, Richard (Bonnie Gromlich), Randall (Betsy Gromlich) and Ellen; his son-in-law Thomas Stauffer of Mifflinburg; his grandchildren, Matthew Gromlich, Bridgette (Ben Fleming), Neil Gromlich, Jordan Gromlich, Genesis Gromlich, Gabriela (Ben Harvey), Victoria Gromlich, Sara (Alex Brown) and Emily Stauffer; and his great grandchildren, Lucie, Mason and Brooks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ernie's memory to the Milton Area Booster Club, American Red Cross, or the American Legion.
