He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Knauer and Mary Theresa Knauer of Danville; his uncle Reverend Charles A. McDermott; his brother Edward Knauer; his nephews, Brian Stanley and Aaron Beyer; and his brother-in-law Harold Stump.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joan Stump of Danville, Elaine Diehl of Danville, Theresa Woodruff (Byard) of Danville, Monica Beyer (Rocky) of Danville, Donna Stanley (James) of Elysburg, Mary West (Donald) of Riverside, Karen Suchecki (Dan) of Harleysville, Gladys Howlett (Joe) of Dauphin, Charles Knauer, William Knauer (Connie) of Danville, Joseph Knauer (Beth) of Northumberland, Michael Knauer of Milton and Steve Knauer (Brenda) of Bellefonte. He is also survived by 30 nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (68 Center St, Danville, PA 17821). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
