He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Parkinson Sr. (Myrtle Hertzog) and Marine Corps; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his pet Bella; his wife Carol; his sister Lynn; and his children, Cindy, John and Jeff. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Born June 10, 1936, in Jeannette, PA, to John G. Parkinson Sr. and Myrtle Hertzog, he was a proud Marine Corps veteran.
