He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Covert and Hazel Covert (Ritter). He is survived by: his wife Dianne Rieder; his sons, Steven (Alicia Covert) and Christopher Covert of Shickshinny; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Covert and Leanna Unrein; his sister Ruth; and his brother-in-law George Bassett of Romulus, NY..
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's (50 Brookpark Cir, Lewisburg, PA 17837). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
