He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant D. Shade Sr. and Mabel Shade (Wetzel); his son Todd Shade; and his siblings, Grant Shade, Jr., Edward Shade and Nancy Leech.
He is survived by: his children, Toby Shade of Milton, Troy Shade of Milton, Angela Shade of Watsontown, Kayla Shade of Milton and Alexis Shade of Michigan; and his siblings, Herman Shade and Connie Waltman. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
