He is survived by: his wife Patricia Monroe (Weaver); his children, Steven W. Monroe (Michelle) of Salem, Oregon and Margaret Trexler (Richard) of Reading; his grandchildren, Noah (Brooke), Nathanael, Macie Monroe, Jarrett and Jessica Trexler; and his great grandchildren, Easton, Hudson, Emery and Alayna. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home (328 Sunbury St, Minersville, PA 17954).
