He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman S. Showalter and Lillian L. Showalter (Gedman). He is survived by: his sons, Daryl W. (Lori A. Showalter) of Bernville and Craig E. (Janette H. Showalter) of Myerstown; his granddaughter Elizabeth Showalter; and his close friends, Brian Bohn, Melissa (Kevin Ruhf), Adam (Taryn Showalter), Benjamin Showalter and Racheal Bissel.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home (21 Chestnut St, Mohnton, PA 19540). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
