He was predeceased by: his mother Dora Ida Werthman (Clear); his wife Shirley "Jean" Werthman; his daughter Nancy Danylo; his granddaughter Kristi Lewarchik; his siblings, Jack Werthman, William Werthman, Betty Mattes (Mike) and Norma Stauffer (Dan); and his friend Catherine Hughes.
He is survived by: his father John Werthman; his children, Cindy Symborski (Geno), Dody Lewarchik (Michael), Chuck Werthman and Donna Golletti (Steve); and his grandchildren, Amy Jensen (Charlie), Amanda Starr (James), Michael Paul Lewarchik, Charli George (Justin), Jennifer Nelson (Mark), Susan Musta (Pat), Stephanie Golletti and Nikki Tomasko (Payton). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family has suggested, those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Charlie's memory to please consider the Wounded Warriors Foundation or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
