He was predeceased by: his mother Julia Regney; his son-in-law Anthony "Tony" G. DiMatteo; and his siblings, Francina Grab, John and Robert Regney.
He is survived by: his father Frank Regney; his children, Donald J. Regney, Jr. (Suzanne), Frank R. "Rusty" Regney (Sherry) and Julie Lynn DiMatteo; his grandchildren, Benjamin Regney, Samantha Strayer (Lambert), Mary Angeline Sherman (Zack), Russell Regney (Justina), Sheena Provencio (Phil) and Sammy DiMatteo; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Andrew, Luca Regney, Idabelle, Penelope, Thea Sherman, William, Talia Provencio and Harper Strayer; and his sister Marlene Parker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Fishing was one of his favorite pastimes for most of his life until he came down with COVID.
