He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Franc and Marie Franc of Ambridge, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Martha Franc (Dzumba); his children, Judy Packer (Liam Madden), Jim Franc (Nancy), Jan Perza (Jim), Jack Franc, Joyce Winkle (late Tim), Karen Bauder (Jim), Kathy McClain (Hack) and Kristine Barr (Bill); and his niece Rose Wilson. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to The Wounded Warrior Project in John's memory.
