With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cyril Jospeph Chovan of Monessen, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Cyril shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Cyril farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Chovan and Rose Chovan (Prokopovich); and his sisters, Rose and Mary Ann Chovan. He is survived by: his niece Leane (Chris Brown); his nephew Trevor (Michelle Helton); his great-niece Aubrey Merrill; and his great-nephews, Lyriq Merrill and RJ Davidson.
